OUR WATER DAMAGE ADELAIDE RESTORATION PROCESS
Every Flood and Water Damage situation is different and each job presents its own issues and challenges the following is a guide as to how we go about our water damage restoration process.
Initial Inspection
We conduct a full inspection of your property, using the latest moisture detection instruments and protimetres, we establish the extent of the flooding and we take air humidity and moisture readings.
Preparation
We move all furnishings, electrical appliances and any other items at risk of damage away from the flooded areas, any furnishings that can’t be moved we place foam blocks underneath.
Flood Water Extraction
Using high airflow extraction equipment we extract excess flood water from all flood affected areas , we also use specialised water claws during this process to aid with maximum water removal, we will often repeat this process several times to remove as much water as possible.
Anti-bacterial treatments
We apply anti-bacterial treatments to all flooded areas, this will sanitise and prevent mould and odours from setting in to these areas.
Anti-browning treatments
We apply anti-browning treatments to all carpeted areas this treatment will prevent any water staining from setting into the carpet.
Drying process
We install a combination of high velocity airmovers and dehumidifiers to assist with the drying process, this specialised equipment will dramatically reduce the drying time.
Monitoring
In some cases it may take a couple of days or so to completely dry the flooded areas, in such cases we will call in at a time of your convenience to take moisture and air humidity readings and monitor the drying process.
Final Process
Finally we steam clean and deodorise any carpets that have been flooded and we take our final moisture readings to endure your home is 100% dry.
