STEP 2 – Containment – Before we begin work, we contain the affected areas to stop the spread of mould and to ensure the safety of all parties involved.
STEP 3 – Protection – Hepa filters are installed to trap any mould spores and to create a negative air pressure within the containment.
STEP 4 – Mould cleaning – This is where we apply our specialised anti-bacterial treatments and provide the cleaning process. In some cases, some of the mould affected materials may need to be removed.

Indoor air quality testing
Our team are experienced and equipped to provide professional indoor air testing for our clients. This is the best way to provide a reasonably accurate measure of the mould contamination within a mould affected property. We typically use two main methods to test the indoor air quality to determine the level of mould present.
Air testing with a specialised bio pump – Using this specialised apparatus of our team can take multiple air samples of the mould contaminated spaces. Once the mould spores are trapped within the Air-O-Cell cassettes that are contained within the Bio Pump we then send the cassettes off to the laboratory to be analysed. Whilst this method of testing can be quite costly the analysis is detailed and accurate. This form of mould testing will give an accurate indication of the full extent of the mould contamination.
Air testing with a particle count meter – Particle count meters provide a fast, convenient, and in-expensive alternative to testing the air for mould contamination. This method of mould testing is not as accurate as using a bio pump however it will still give a helpful indication of the mould levels within a contaminated space.
Mould surface testing
Mould will grow on all types of surfaces and in many cases is visible and can easily be identified. However, mould spores that are not visible will often settle on various types of surfaces throughout the affected areas and can also present health issues for the property occupants.
Bio tapes – These provide a sampling method for testing the mould. They are simply applied to the contaminated surface and then lifted off. The mould spores are then trapped on the stick surface of the tape and can then be sent to a lab for sampling.
Swabs – These are a simple method for testing for mould. The swab is simply rubbed over the affected surface trapping any mould spores on the tip of the cotton bud on the end of the swab. These swabs can then be sent to the lab for sampling.
